Broken filter element and ash entering the engine
Release time:2026.04.10
Once the filter element is damaged, it cannot effectively filter dust, sand and other impurities in the air, and a large amount of particulate matter will directly enter the engine with the intake air. These hard particles will quickly increase the wear of key components such as cylinders, pistons, and piston rings, seriously affecting the service life of the engine.
If the engine is operated with a damaged filter element for a long time, the engine will have problems such as insufficient cylinder pressure, significant power loss, oil burning, and increased abnormal noise. At least it shortens the overhaul cycle, but at worst it directly causes irreversible mechanical damage such as pulling cylinders and holding cylinders, causing the entire machine to malfunction and shut down.
